Research

The submenus on the left will bring you to more detailed descriptions of my research. Here I will index some of my research efforts.

On March 9, 2010, I had my "oratie", my inaugural address as professor in cognitive modeling. You can find the text here (in Dutch).

The game of Set

Set if a cardgame that is that we used for a modeling study, because it emphasized perception and fast parallel reasoning. Based on the model we constructed a computer opponent. Look at the Set page for details, and dowload the program to try it out yourself!

My thesis

I finished my thesis in 1999, and I made a summary with links to the different chapters here. The page also contains all the models I constructed for my thesis. Be warned that you probably have to find old versions of ACT-R to run them!
