Introduction

In a lot of games, not all knowledge is known by all players. In games such as these players try to increase their knowledge by trying to think like their opponent, and based on what their opponent does try to infer what their opponent knows. These games make an interesting topic for projects on multi-agent systems and epestemic logic.

For our project we want to anyalyse the Dutch game klaverjassen. We want to see what kinds of knowledge, believes and reasoning play a role in the game and how these affect the game. We do this by trying to implement a system in which four computer controlled agents play a game of klaverjassen against each other.
