Discussion

The analysis showed klaverjassen makes use of knowledge and believes a great deal. Without knowledge a player would not have any idea what to play and cards would be played at random. Although the knowledge can get a player a long way, also making use of believes will better the chances of winning. Although believes are not actual knowledge it is, in most games of klaverjassen, save to act upon them.

Our simulation is able to play a game of klaverjassen and does so in a fairly good way. Unfortunately we did not manage to implement explicit deeper levels of knowledge and can therefore not see how this would affect the game. Due to time constraints we also did not manage to perform a comparison of how agents with different levels of reasoning would do against each other.
