Now, it is Player 1 turn again. He puts one white stone in the Box, but this time switches with Player 3. Now, player 1 knows what was the move of Player 2 in its own previous turn, because player 3 swapped hand with player 2 in the previous turn. However, Player 1 doesn't know which stone Player 3 put in the Box the last turn. Therefore, it consider it possible that player 2, has two black and one white stone or vice versa.
