Goal

The goal of this assignment is to write a scientific paper about handwriting recognition based on the knowledge that you gained by making your recognizer.

Assignment

• The text should be about 10 pages, in English. (Roughly 5000 words.)
• The main structure should be like in a scientific paper: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, References.
• Reports should be written individually. Members of a group are allowed to share the sections Methods and Results; indicate clearly with whom you share these parts. The other sections have to be individual.
• Your personal contribution must be extensive; the papers of the group members should not be similar. Indicate which part of the recognizer you built.

Grading

You will be graded on the following subjects: title+abstract, introduction, method, formalisms, analysis, results+interpretation, references, engineering, science.
