The core conference opens at 09:15 on Tuesday 12 July and closes at 17:00 on Thursday 14 July.

The conference dinner will be at a city centre venue on the evening of Wednesday 13 July. This is not included in the conference fee but we hope that it will be possible to subsidise the cost of the dinner.

On the morning of Monday 11 July the 2022 Pargram project meeting will take place. The aim of the meeting is to regain some traction within the ParGram project and discuss new perspectives for its development, focusing on semantics. You can join in person or online. For more details contact Mark-Matthias Zymla.

The conference excursion will take place on the afternoon of Monday 11 July.

The workshop will take place on the morning of Friday 15 July.

Invited speakers

Prof Miriam Butt (University of Konstanz)

Prof Helge Lødrup (University of Oslo)

Venue

The conference venue is the Bernoulliborg, Nijenborgh 9, 9747AG Groningen.

The Bernoulliborg is on the university's Zernike campus, 4km north of the city centre. Buses 1, 2, 9, and 15 serve stop Nijenborgh, which is next to the building, and there are signed cycle routes (journey around 15 minutes) to the campus from the city centre.

There is step-free access from street level to all conference rooms.

Lunch, tea, and coffee will be provided. The Bernoulliborg has a canteen and small supermarket and there is a food court 2000m away on the campus.

Associated Workshop

A workshop on coordinating future activities in the LFG community is planned for the morning of Friday 15 July 2022. Further details will be available shortly.

We regret that it was not feasible to hold the workshop on formal grammars and cognition that was originally planned.

Coronavirus

We are currently planning a physical conference and hope that speakers will be able to attend in person. A synchronous, online participation option is available.

The conference will follow the guidance and requirements of the Dutch government and the University of Groningen. People with coronavirus symptoms should stay away from the campus and book a test. At present there is no requirement for masks or social distancing, but people are welcome to wear masks if they wish and we are all asked to respect other people's choices within the guidance.
