The size of the keyboard limits the miniaturization of handhold computers (Personal Digital Assistants, PDAs). A QWERTY keyboard can be presented on the LCD/digitizer and individual virtual keys can be tapped with the pen. In fact reasonable speeds can be reached with the proper layout [342]. In LCD/digitizer telephones with a touch sensitive surface it was observed that users prefer tapping with the pen over pressing with their finger on the glass screen [82].
