This website gives information about my Ph.D. research.

I started my Ph.D. research in July 2005 at the Artificial Intelligence institute of the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. The title of my research is "Visual Attention and Active Vision: From natural to artificial systems". I finished my dissertation in October 2009. More information about my research can be found under the research menu.

I received my M.Sc. degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Groningen in 2002. From 2002 until 2005, I was a junior teacher in Groningen. I taught a number of courses on the Robots and Autonomous Systems. A complete overview of the courses I gave can be found here.
