Welcome to this website which contains a Java application of the Da Vinci Code game.
This game was made by Jesse van den Kieboom, Kim Does and Stephanie Kemna as a project
for the Multi-Agent Systems course in the Master Artificial Intelligence
at the University of Groningen.
This course covered logic necessary to represent knowledge of multiple agents or
distributed systems. For more information about this course or about the developers
of this application, go to the about page.
The DaVinci Code game is a game where there
are 12 black and 12 white tiles. Each player begins with three or four tiles
(depending on the number of players). The goal of the game is to reveal all
of your opponents' secret codes before they uncover yours. A full explanation
of the game in given in the game section of
this website.
The application is made in Java and uses Prolog for the logic part of the game;
representing the knowledge for all participants of the game. We give a short
explanation of how we made this game in the
implementation section.
To be able to play the game, you have to download
it first. For those of you who want to have a look at the application before
downloading it; we also included screenshots of the game in our screenshots section.
We hope you will enjoy this game!
