Course description:

An architecture of cognition is a simulation environment in which human information processing can be imitated. Architectures are implementations of general theories of cognition. One of the goals of this course is to study a number of these architectures on a course level, and discuss their scientific merit. The main goal is to gain experience in modeling itself, using the ACT-R architecture. In a lab session students construct models of some elementary tasks.
